Online hate crime reporting is now being treated more seriously and reporting has been made easier.

How do you know when you've been on the receiving end of a hate crime?

When someone is hostile to you and they show this through intimidation, harassment, damaging property or violence it is a hate crime.

Hate crime reporting is increasing and as of last month prosecutors are being advised to treat hate crimes committed on social media in the same way as those committed elsewhere.
